1. Re: Number of loaded classes
adrian.brock May 19, 2003 5:24 PM (in response to andrewdem)Which classloader is holding those classes?
Can you see the stack trace of the allocated
classes?

5. Re: Number of loaded classes
adrian.brock May 20, 2003 9:23 AM (in response to andrewdem)Are you passing lots of different objects
in jms messages?
My guess is that these reflection objects
are being cached somewhere.
Does redeploying the web app, release them?
I don't think the number of classes you mention would
explain the memory usage.

6. Re: Number of loaded classes
andrewdem May 22, 2003 3:09 AM (in response to andrewdem)My application has four jms queues and sent about 5-8 messages (message is a custom object that contains DOM object) per second in peak mode.
I will try start my application on Orion Apllication Server and compare it.
Redeploying the app do not release reflection objects, and number of loaded classes increasing each time. And most of this classes has no instances.

pants Jun 13, 2003 5:21 AM (in response to andrewdem)I'm seeing the same problem when I deploy an mbean, did you manage to find out why the number of loaded classes keeps growing? Why aren't the classes unloaded?
