postpone cmp writes until end of transaction?

Can JBoss postpone CMP ejbStore calls until the end of the transaction? I'm using 3.2.1 and getting many more ejbStores than I want (my beans aren't cheap). Or is this already supposed to work this way and I am doing something wrong with my user transaction setup?
Or is there some other set of parameters that can be tuned to enable effectively the same behavior?

There is a sync-on-commit-option in jboss.xml,
see the dtd.
But, if you don't sync until the commit, a finder
running against the db might not work as you
expect.

Ahh, exactly what I want.
I believe I understand the implications and for the entity where that matters I don't need this sync-on-commit-only behavior. Thanks for the reply!
