Hundreds of MBeans running concurrently

How can I improve the performance of MBeans ?
I have got hundreds - thousends of them running concurrently.
I need to be able to run concurrently as many as I can and each MBean needs to do fast.

Any Idea ?
if so are there any XDoclets tags for it.
