1. Re: Where to know info about JBOSS performance and tuning
peterj Mar 20, 2007 10:22 AM (in response to luhy)Quite a few posts in this forum discuss various tuning topics.
Also see http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=SPECjAppServer2002Tuning. Many of the tuning tips there apply to general applications deployed to jboss as (i.e., they are not specjappserver specific) -

Thanks a lot for your help.
I find some informations I need, but I still has some question.
1,the number of socket could be tuning or not, for example where to mofigy the initial socked num and max socket num.
2, The priority of message queue could be set or not to improve the speed of some message's process? -
3. Re: Where to know info about JBOSS performance and tuning
peterj Mar 21, 2007 10:24 AM (in response to luhy)1) By "socket" do you mean http connections/threads? If so, look at server/xxx/deploy/jbossweb-tomcat55.sar/server.xml. The < Connector > entries have various properties, such as maxThreads, that govern thread/connection creation and pooling. For documentation, see http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.5-doc/config/http.html
2) There is no built-in mechanism to prioritize messages, as far as I know.
