In J2EE 1.4 the deployment of web services has changed. WSR archives of JBoss are proprietary and outdated.

Is there an update for the XDoclet module providing the Ant subtask according to the standard deployment?

No, not yet. Currently we have two conflicting ws implementations. JBoss.NET is not J2EE compatible, jboss-ws4ee does not yet have an XDoclet module.
