Accessing an XML file

Could someone please tell me how to configure JBoss so that I can access an xml file, located in a JAR file, from a session EJB? I am using 3.0.2.

To make my question more specific: Do I need to use the URL connection factory and if so how do I configure the *-service.xml file for it please? Does anyone have an example of a *-service.xml file configured for accessing a URL resource please?

As far as I understood the EJB-spec a simple getResourceAsStream() is a legal way to do this job.
