Question(s) regarding connection-close

Hi,
I have a problem with my JCA-adapter (running JBoss-3.2.0RC4_tomcat-4.1.18 under XP and OSX).

I receive following exception :

The questions are :
a) Why is the connection closed immedialtly after processing my request (it was processed without any failures)
b) My close-method is invoked but I don't understand the exception ("..Please close them yourself..")

I had the same problem. Though I close the connection in the EJB, as well as notify the ConnectionEventListener of the CLOSED event, I still see this exception getting dumped.

I found the reason for the exception (walking through the sources):
It's just generated for the logger/logging:
log.info("...."+c, new Exception("Stack Trace"));

I had the same problem. If everything is implemented correctly in the resource adapter and your closing the connection in the ejb the message disappears.

Are you setting the connection handle for the Connection event? Should look like:

ConnectionEvent event = new ConnectionEvent(this,
connectionEvent.CONNECTION_CLOSED);

event.setConnectionHandle(connection);
cel.connectionClosed(event);
