Thread pool and JCA

Hello,
I've read that if I want to manage a pool of thread in JBoss I have to make a connector for that. I've also read the different threads speaking about examples in this forum...

One thing I would like to know is how a Connection manager can return a Thread to a client application
(I mean an ear client of the application server)?

Is their any thread pool connector available?

Have anybody some clues to start?

JCA1.5 part of jboss4 has a work manager contract,
if that's what you mean?
