Create Connection Pool at JBoss start up

Does anybody know
1. Whether or not JBoss allows to create a connection pool at its startup, instead of waiting for the first connection comes in and then creates the pool?
2. If JBoss allows for creating the pool at start up, then, how to configure as such?

No, as you said, pools are lazily constructed when they
used.
