ilya_shaikovsky Apr 18, 2007 12:15 PM (in response to tbrown_01923)your versions is too old.
Try ajax4jsf 1.1.0 with this RF version.
Or it will be better to use ajax4jsf 1.1.1 and Rich Faces 3.0.1 SNAPSHOTS. Numerous bugs has been fixed from your versions. ;) -

tbrown_01923 Apr 18, 2007 12:50 PM (in response to tbrown_01923)updating to a4j 1.1.0 had no effect - the same problem occurred. Its not a priority for me to be on rich:faces - they are relatively nice componets, but I aalready have a majority of the functionality I need.
I can wait for this to stabalize. -

I've also made my own sort-links in header-facets of rich-dataTable.

tbrown_01923 Apr 19, 2007 11:12 AM (in response to tbrown_01923)action method is NOT being called. The form submit is happening (onsubmit="alert()") plus FIDDLER lets me view the traffic. In the first post you can see the response from TOMCAT - as if A4J handled the request but thought there was nothing to do :(

If the action method is not been called, you need to check that request sends and jsf lifecycle passes the validation and update model phases successfully. Does not mater - this is Ajax request or the regular JSF request.
