adrian.brock Apr 26, 2004 7:49 AM (in response to rachono)Ask Oracle. It is one Oracle class trying to reference another Oracle class.
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/jdbc/OracleSavepoint
at oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver.getConnectionInstance(OracleDriver.java:468)
Savepoint is part of the jdbc3 api, which was only included in j2se in java 1.4 -

rachono Apr 26, 2004 8:30 AM (in response to rachono)Thanks for this very short and precise answer. I'm just wondering how you define with version of JDBC to use. If I look at myserver/deploy/jms, I see a file in which u specify the jdbc version to use hsqldb-jdbc2-service.xml. Is there any way to do so with Oracle ?Thanks for your support

adrian.brock Apr 26, 2004 9:03 AM (in response to rachono)You cannot, either the classes are available or they are not.
jbossmq's jdbc2 has nothing to do with the jdbc spec version.
It is the second implementation of a jdbc persistence manager.
In 3.2.4 there is a jdbc3 (again unrelated to the jdbc spec version).
