Read DBF format

Can I get an data source desc (DS) file (like oracle-ds.xml) to manage
connection to DBF format file.
Is there any ability to read data from this simple data source format?

JBoss/JCA can manage this type of thing for you, only if you have a JDBC compliant driver. If you have this, it's simply a matter of plugging in the requisite properties for your driver.
