      For the examples:
      I downloaded the war file from the link, it has all the html files, but doesn't have java source (it is only in a html formate that you can view, not in .java format).

      I also downloaded the src for RichFaces, but it doesn't have the java source for example.

      Did I miss anything? How about just get all the source into the war file for example?

            The links in Bold are just to view the files in html or to save them one by one. Is there a way to download all the example java files to my local disk? (like get a zip file and expand it to get all the source for example? I think that is very useful)

              Oh, Ok. Now, I got what you miss.
              You need to have any SVN client to take the source code, because source code of the RichFaces locates in the SVN repository.
