How to start tomcat from JBoss

Hi All,

I saw your BOK in KShop.

I've installed the jboss-tomcat combination. However I'm not finding any documentation on how to start the web server and JBoss part. Actually I'm not even sure if I start JBoss server (through the strat up script provided in bin floder of JBoss) whether that itself starts tomcat or not.

Can you tell me where I can find proper documenattion on JBoss ? Also if you have some knowledge to share could you please do so ?

go to HOME-DIR\bin folder and run run.bat file
open ur browser and go to
http://localhost:8080
If u get some Tomcat context not found like error,
it means that ur Jboss is started and also Tomcat
Tomcat context not found like error will come because there is no default application available.

one more thing...
from doc\examples folder
get examples.war file and put it under
jboss-3.0.0_tomcat-4.0.3\server\default\deploy
directory
In browser
type http://localhost:8080/examples
