How to run tests

Ok,
I found http://telia.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/jboss/JBossTest-1.0.tar.gz
which I assume is the test_suite Andreas was talking about in the getting started document.

I start JBoss with the run.bat (on Win2K) and in another window run the tests. They all crash and burn with stack traces. Are they supposed to run?

That looks like the testsuite for the 2.x series.
You can probably get it to run if you swap the
jboss* and jmxri jars with the 3.0 jars from
${jboss.home}/client
But it doesn't have as many tests as the 3.0 version.

Alternatively, download jboss-3.0.0-src.tgz from
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=22866
It should contain a directory called testsuite.
