CSS not loading until page is refreshed

Hi,

I've created my first site with JSF/Richfaces/A4j, and everything is perfect except for one thing: The css that I use to specify the look and feel of my rich:tree (specifying coloring and text properties for tree nodes) isn't active until I have reloaded my page once, either using a non-ajax link, or the refresh button in my browser...

Is this something that someone else has experienced? Is it a known problem?
