1. Re: config and properties
joelvogt Oct 7, 2002 8:33 PM (in response to benholland)Do you have this datasource configured for your application? Is this what you are trying to access or is another source?

2. Re: config and properties
adrian.brock Oct 7, 2002 9:29 PM (in response to benholland)Why not create a managed connection?
Then just lookup the javax.sql.Datasource in jndi?
java:/DefaultDS comes pre-configured as the
hypersonic embedded database.
See docs/examples/jca for configs to "drop" into
server/default/deploy once you've made the suitable
alterations.
Don't forget to add the jdbc driver to server/default/lib

benholland Oct 8, 2002 4:50 AM (in response to benholland)Can you suggest some source to see how you do the look up on JNDI. Thanks for the suggestions.

4. Re: config and properties
adrian.brock Oct 8, 2002 8:42 AM (in response to benholland)From the test suite:
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/jboss/jbosstest/src/main/org/jboss/test/bmp/beans/SimpleBMPBean.java?rev=HEAD&content-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-markup
and the deployment descriptors
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/jboss/jbosstest/src/resources/bmp/META-INF/
You could just lookup the data source directly,
instead of using a resource-ref
