    Error viewing JMX Management Console

      Hi:

I have just un-archived JBoss 3.03 and ran it. It appears to have started okay however I can get access teh JMX Management Console at http://localhost:8082.

I can get to the default web server at http://localhost:8080 which gives me the correct 404 error.

I am very new to JBoss and don't know where to start to provide more information with this problem so I have taken a few guesses by looking at the output of the start.bat file and here are a few lines that look odd.

09:21:30,900 INFO [WebService] Started webserver with address: null port: 8083

      09:21:35,877 INFO [jbossweb] Starting Jetty/4.1
      09:21:35,907 INFO [jbossweb] Started org.mortbay.http.NCSARequestLog@ffb38
09:21:35,947 INFO [jbossweb] Started SocketListener on 0.0.0.0:8080
      09:21:35,967 INFO [jbossweb] Started AJP13Listener on 0.0.0.0:8009

09:21:39,002 INFO [OILServerILService] JBossMQ OIL service available at : 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0:8090
      09:21:39,022 INFO [OILServerILService] Started
      09:21:39,032 INFO [UILServerILService] Starting
09:21:39,042 INFO [UILServerILService] JBossMQ UIL service available at : 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0:8091

I am using Windows 2000 Professional SP3 and have verified with the command 'netstat -a' that port 8082 is not in use.

      Any help would be appreciated.

      Thanks
      Steve
