Integration of standalone Tomcat 4.1.12 with JBoss 3.0.4

I am completely new to JBoss. I have downloaded the JBoss 3.0.4 and installed it on win2k platform. It works fine. I also installed the standalone Tomcat 4.1.12. My question is that is it possible to use standalone Tomcat 4.1.12 instead of the jetty to talk to JBoss? What are the tips and tricks?

It is possible. However not recommended you separate web tier and EJB tier to different processes if you don't have to.

Also, you will need to write explicit security logins in your web tier when talking to EJB tier -- there will not be integrated security between the two servers.
