1. Re: Does JBOSS support, ASP, PHP, PERL, PYTHON & MySQL?
canobi Feb 17, 2003 7:06 AM (in response to vbgunz)Heh, you're way off. JBoss is not a web server, it's a Java Enterprise application server. It most definitely is not what you're looking for.
For easy portability of your web hosting from Windows to Unix (except ASP, you won't be able to port ASP pages) use apache (http://httpd.apache.org/). -

Or you could take the blue (or was it the red one?) pill and dive into the world known as J2EE and walk around in wonderland and slightly forget about that wannabe serverside stuff crap like PHP, ASP, etc.
Are you (wo)man enough ? -

vbgunz Feb 19, 2003 11:28 PM (in response to vbgunz)I am surprised I never got these responses earlier... I am watching the thread... Oh, so I was all wrong... Cool, no grudge... I've got learning to do and I'll figure out why JBOSS is so big :)
Thanks for your answers fellas. So sorry I missed replying sooner :(
