JNDI environment questsion

I have a very simple newbie type question about the JNDI namespaces defined in a J2EE compliant server...I have seen java:comp/ejb/<bean-name> mentioned, along with ejb/<bean-name> to lookup bean interfaces. I was wondering where is this document in the standard? I can't seem to find it in any of Suns Docs about what should go in thses namespaces and what namespaces a person should expect to exist. Where does this magical knowledge come from? The JNDI spec? The EJB spec?

i think that info is app server specific, you can setup your jndi tree however you like (i think)
