boot.log log4j customization

hello !
is there a way to remove the boot.log tracing ? also I can't find any log4j.xml file to customize the log4j stdout of the JBOSS server (it looks to me that the log4j.xml in the server/.../conf directory does not apply for the boot).

I'd like to make a test on the stdout of the server to know if the server is started or not from an external process; maybe there is another way ?

for boot logging have a look inside the run.jar in your /bin directory. It provides three different log configs (default, debug and trace).

You can add your own and define the -Dlog4j.configuration=<config file name> for your run script to use different boot logging configuration
