How to deploy RMI Objects on JBoss?

Hi,
I searched a lot on the web but I couldn't find any documentation on how to deploy RMI objects on JBoss. There is no forum dedicated to RMI, so I am posting this message in this forum.
I have an RMI object, the stubs and skels were created using Sun rmi. I don't know where to put the stubs, skels and interface and Impl classes. I tried putting them in the deploy dir, but that didn't work. I don't know if I have to modify some xml file in the deploy or conf dir.
Does anyone have any thoughts about this?

What are you trying to achieve?

One of the advantages of an application server like JBoss is that all of the RMI stuff is taken care of for you.

darranl, can u provide an example of how to use jboss's build in RMI features.
I have found no doco's online on how to do this.

First I would reccomend that anyone new to J2EE has a look at the following book to get an understanding of what it is all about :-

To the right of the page you should see a link for 'BUY Jboss DOCO' follow the link and you should see some quick start guides that can be downloaded for free.

That should be enough to get you started.
