I am new to jboss. I have downloaded jboss version 4 and tried to deploy a simple ejb. I found out (after 1 whole day of trail and error) that in jboss.dtd refereed from jboss.xml contains <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> entry on that top.
I am not a xml expert, but i guess you should not have xml tag in dtd. Jboss kept on complaining that the connection is time out for http://www.jboss.org/j2ee/dtd/jboss_3_2.dtd. I downloaded thid dtd and removed <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> tag and referred to dtd on local file system then it works. Just want to know whether there is some problem with this dtd on jboss site or am I doing something wrong?
