I am trying to look at the JBoss Source code in Eclipse. When trying to do an update from CVS within Eclipse, I got prompted for a password. However, it worked anonymously 15 minutes ago! I also notice that if I try to do a CVS login using my command line, which also worked 15 minutes ago, I get the following error:
$ cvs login
(Logging in to [e-mail])
CVS password:
cvs login: authorization failed: server cvs.jboss.sourceforge.net rejected access to /cvsroot/jboss for user anonymous

Are anonymous users being locked out of CVS for some reason it would be handy to know about? Or is there something else going on?

This is a sourceforge issue. They've had a lot of problems supporting anonymous CVS access. Check their bulletins for updates on the status of anon CVS.
