run.sh -c default --host myjbossserver.mydomain.com
other things that you might need to check are:
is there a firewall?
if there is a firewall are you using UIL2 instead of OIL?

element:

from $JBOSS_HOME/default/server/deploy/jms/uil2-service.xml
