Is Jboss suitable for production environment?

Dear all,

I'm not a Java programmer, so quite new to Jboss. The reason why post here is that, my ERP vendor suggest us using Jboss as middleware. We are now in the progress of implementing ERP system. My question is: Jboss is a Open Source software, is it stable enough or performance well for a production environment?

We have around 30 clients(PC), 8 concurrent ERP licenses, server config: MS Win 2003 server, Appache Web Server, Jboss middleware, MS SQL DB Server.

Yes it is. Get the latest 3.2.x distribution (that's our production ready line).
