Multiple JAVA process when ps -e

Hello.
When running jboss-3.2.1_tomcat-4.1.24, y tried : "ps -e" and a a lot of JAVA proccess are shown (more than 30) - only one RUN.SH is shown -.

Some friends do the same and they have only one java process. What happens to my jboss????

If you are using Linux or some version of Unix and your friends are using Windows then that is all correct.
