how did you put the entry for the common.jar in your application.xml file?
I only know the subtags of the module tag:
\<connector\> for connectors
\<ejb\> for enterprise java beans
\<java\> for application clients
\<web\> for web-applications
A tag for defining utility jars is missing, isn't it?
