JVM_Bind Exception

Hi All,

Im using JBoss as Application server and Tomcat as Webserver. Tomcat is running on 8087 port. When I start the JBoss(and also Tomcat), Im getting the JVM_Bind, BindException. The detailed exception is as below:

MBeans waiting for other MBeans:
[ObjectName: jboss.mq:service=InvocationLayer,type=OIL
state: FAILED
I Depend On: jboss.mq:service=Invoker

Depends On Me: java.net.BindException: Address already in use: JVM_Bind]
18:23:30,615 INFO [URLDeploymentScanner] Started

Please help mein this regard.

Hi nageshever.

Sometimes OS can`t collect allocated resources on application.
If you restart your OS, the problem may be solved.

Or you may check the port whether it is used by another application before starting JBOSS.

Looks like the OIL service can't start. It normally listens on port 8090. Use netstat to see if something is on 8090 when JBoss isn't running.

OIL is deprecated. Just comment the relevane MBean in the jms directory.
