Hello... I have a big problem. I bought someone's server and website, promised to be a "complete functioning system with no known defects". It worked for a short while, but then the server needed to be moved so we had to shut it down. After turning it back on (he assured us it would just restart and know what to do) the website no longer works properly at all.
I don't know much about this stuff at all. Here's what I do know:
Its a linux box with RH8 on it.
I have root access to it (thank God)
It appears to use "jboss", but I don't really know what that is or what it does.
None of the images on our website show up. (that's the big problem)
I don't even know where to start! I was hoping maybe someone familiar with jboss could help me out. I remember him saying that JBoss was a big part of this site.
I'm so lost. I'm sure I'm not giving you enough info, but I don't even know what info you might need.
