sysuser1 Nov 3, 2004 9:19 AM (in response to sysuser1)Oh, I think I've described my problem rather weired. I don't mean the port of the client application but the port that I want to connect for the naming service (ejbs, etc.). And the usual jnp-Port is 1099 and within my Client-App. I try to get the initialContext by using this port but it does not work....

You have no chance of any support unless you describe the problem.
What does your client code look like?
If the client code is using a jndi.properties file what are its contents?
What errors / exceptions are you getting?
The jndi.properties used by the client must not be the one in server/default/conf. The jndi.properties in server/default/conf should never be edited.
