How to get my jboss-build.xml to display line numbers in the

i can't get my .xml files like my jboss-build.xml to show line numbers, which makes tracking down and solving various compile and build problems difficult.

pls. help this should be easy

Use an XML editor that supports showing line numbers.

so you're telling me that it doesn't support line numbers in an xml file, but if i change the extension to .txt it will suport line numbers, that's retarded somebody should fix that. why would you not add line numbering to all files

To be honest your posts are making very little sense, what are you currently opening the XML files with?
