eBank error message: ejb.account doesn't exist

    beeby

      Hi

I'm trying to work through the Duke's Bank application but I'm getting the following error message: package com.sun.ebank.ejb.account does not exist, and many similar error messages follow. Can someone explain where I'm going wrong? Also says see the compiler error output for details. Is there a separate error log somewhere?

      Mike

ok solved it. Made the stupid error of not unpacking the jboss zip files into the correct directory.

                Sure,
When you save the Getting Started documentation to your hard drive, you will see that it comes with a folder of additional files. These files need to be dropped into the same directories that your existing bank files are in. The exact same folders, so that instead of creating new folders, you are just making the existing folders larger. Being a newbie I had made the mistake of creating a subdirectory just for these 'new' files. Wait until you change the database from Hypersonic to MySQL (or another DB), then the fun really begins!

(apologies to zhangyiluo for the delay in responding, since nobody had replied to this post after a day I stopped coming here so didn't see your post)
