deploy problems

I am have been trying to deploy ejb on the jboss server but without luck so far. I managed to get a servlet working but I cannot seem to create my own beans and get them deployed. I have found some tutorials on the net, but most of them doesnt work. Does anyone know some good tutorials about how to deploy a simple sessionbean and to make a clientprogram that contacts the bean(not a servlet)?

JBOSS Eclipse Ide Tutorial is great!

That is, if you use ECLIPSE Ide.

If you don't, I'd recommend it but you can still get a lot of information on what you want from it.

I got it working with the servlet, but I cant seem to find out how to connect to the bean from a "normal" java application. I have done this with Sun as before, but I dont know what needs to be in the classpath now.
