    Web-console application crash

    ruddy

I have install JBoss 3.2.6 on my Mdk 10.1 system. JBoss start correctly. I star my web browser using "http://localhost:8080" and then click on the web-console link. My web client crash.
What might be wrong with my install?

I'm using Firefox as web browser. It seems that the javascript part of the jsp page makes the web browser crash. Any idea about it?

i have installed JOnAS 4.3.4 and it works fine. What's going wrong with JBoss 3.2.5? I'm surprise that nobody is able to give some advise on JBoss web-console.

I would appreciate some indication that would help me to solve my problem.

            Thanks

What do you mean by 'the web browser crash'?

For me, the web browser crashed means that the web browser stopped running with no error messages. All windows and tabs closed and I had to open them again.

To fix this problem on a Windows XP computer, I used the add/remove programs to remove every instance of Java. I was required to reboot my computer a few times during this process because I had multiple JRE and SDK versions installed.

Next, I cleared some instances of JRE Runtime and JRE Development from my registry.

Finally, with all instances of Firefox and Internet Explorer closed (as in not running), I did a complete install of Java 1.5.06 and I allowed it to install the plug-ins for both browsers.

This fixed the problem for me. Before the clean and re-install, I could run the web-console, but only if disabled Java in the browser.
