Any tips to improve performance

Hi,
My envirnoment
ajax4jsf-1.1.2-20070605.005614-1,
richfaces-3.0.2-20070606.174219-1,
myfaces 1.1.5, Seam 1.2.1.GA,
Facelets 1.1.12,
Tomcat 5.5.20 (for development)

I would like to know if there are any tips that could improve performance during page render (loading).
When I compare the page rendering with and without Richfaces, loading time differs clearly. Mostly pages are using simple UIs like rich:panel (avg. 3 to 5 per page).

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Most of the dellays provided by Tidy filter. So you may switch the filter to Nekko based fast filter. But in this case you need to be carefull with your markups especially with ajax request.

Hi,
Thanks for your quick reply.
I replaced original filter with FastFilter, now my rich:datascroller was not working any more (atleast response was not updated).

Any idea.


PS: I added nekohtml.jar to classpath after a classdefnotfound exception.
