JBoss compatibility issues

Hi
Just asking the question which I think I know the answer to but want to check before we spend the money!
We are about to purchase a Sun X4100 running Solaris 10 on and want to check that someone out there has run JBoss on Soaris 10 at least, even better on an x86 chipset.
As JBoss is Java based is there any reason why it should not work?

As long as the OS supports the Java Version, and the Java Version is an approved version for the version of Jboss, then you should be ok. Jboss sits on top of Java...so it does not matter whether you get a nice new Sun server, or something running windows or linux etc
