I am running JBoss AS on my machine. I am able to access applications running on the server from the same physical machine using localhost:8180. I can also access the same applications from a virtual machine running on the same physical machine by using the IP or dns of the machine the server is running on. However, when I try to access the same application from a different physical machine, I get a message saying the connection timed out. I can ping the machine so I know that it is not the wrong IP or dns, but I get no response from the server. Does anyone know what the problem is?
