Running multiple instances of an EAR

I have multiple instances of an EAR that I am trying to deploy. The names of the EAR files are all different but the content of the EARs are basically the same, other than some configuration settings that are unique between the EARs.

Is is possible to run multiple instances of basically the same EAR, and if so, how do I go about going this?

The problem you will have is with EJBs and other things that will end up with names in JNDI. Unless the names of those items are different, you will end up naming conflicts.
