Automatically assign ports?

Hello,

Is there any kind of "developement" mode or some kind of setting for JBoss AS which can tell it to grab a free port? I'm constantly getting "port in use" errors and it's kind of a drag to keep changing the settings.

Does this help http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=DebugBindException? There's also a section which talks about Reserving Ports.

That seems like quite a bit of effort, especially for large development teams where not everyone has admin privilages on their machine.
