rootme Jul 28, 2008 10:48 AM (in response to rootme)Hi,
I understood the install part. Thanks,
But how to detect the type (jboss.server.name): default (standalone), etc.
Is this written in a configuration file ? If I unzip jboss I have default,, all, minimal ... so which one can I use as the actual configuration?
Thanks,

The "default", "all" and "minimal" are shipped by JBoss by default. However, the end user can just rename them as they please. But how to detect the type (jboss.server.name): default (standalone), etc.
A similar approach to look for specific files. For ex: the cluster configuration will have a cluster-service.xml file in the deploy folder of the server. This can give you an idea (though not a perfect solution) whether the existing installation has enabled the cluster service.
