1. Re: JBoss Native for Windows - and JBoss 4.0.5
peterj Nov 17, 2008 12:11 PM (in response to pkelsey)It will work with JBoss 4.0.5. Do this, download the native binary and unzip it to a temp directory. Then copy only these files to the jboss_home/bin directory:
bin/jbosssvc.exe
bin/service.bat
bin/readme-service.txt
That is all you need. The service.bat is used to both set up and run the service. Feel free to edit it to customize it. The jbossvc.exe is the actual service that gets run by Windows. What is does when you start the service is run the service.bat which in turn runs run.bat which in turn runs JBossAS. -

3. Re: JBoss Native for Windows - and JBoss 4.0.5
felixk123 Nov 20, 2008 2:35 PM (in response to pkelsey)I have an other question related to the JBoss Native for Windows.
I just installed JBoss as a service but now I can't start it with the parameter -b 0.0.0.0. Where do I have to configure the JBoss Service so that it listens to every adress?
I'm using the version 4.2.3.GA.
Thanks for any help.
