jboss 5 console

Hi all. I am new to jboss.

I have just installed jboss 5 together with jdk1.5.0.1_01 on windows server 2003 sp2.

When i open my browser and enter: http://localhost:8080 to access the console, iexplore tells me:

"http 404 - not found (the page cannot be found)"

What could be causing this error?

I also cannot access the console using either 127.0.0.1 or the IP Address (from a connected client pc)

Any help is really appreciated :D

Do you see any errors/exceptions on the JBoss console while startup? Maybe it's webserver was not started.

What version of the JDK again?

Oh, and for Windows step 5 is:

5) Open a Command Prompt, 'cd' into the bin directory and run: run.bat

I removed JDK1.5 & installed JDK1.6 - now the jboss5 console works fine :)
