1. Re: Log4j Configuration
peterj Jun 26, 2009 12:10 PM (in response to gopib)You should already be getting INFO or DEBUG log entries for Seam. If you need more control, add something like this to the server/xxx/conf/jboss-log4j.xml file:
<category name="org.jboss.seam"> <priority value="WARN"/> </category>

wolfgangknauf Jun 29, 2009 7:09 AM (in response to gopib)Hi,
please provide more details. A general question like "I want to use Log4j" will not provide you with helpful answers.
As Peter said: Log4j can be configured only through "server/xxx/conf/jboss-log4j.xml", so you have to add your own config to it.
If you want custom config files in your module, you might take a look at this wiki article: http://www.jboss.org/community/wiki/Log4jRepositorySelector

xmedeko Jul 9, 2009 3:32 AM (in response to gopib)Hi, the recent 5.1.0GA has brought some changes regarding the logging. I just wonder, if JBoss 5.1.0GA already contains some solution for repository logging or do we have to still use own repository selector described in http://www.jboss.org/community/wiki/Log4jRepositorySelector ?
