Internet Explorer: problems with RichFaces

Good day!

I have tryed to use the latest version of RichFaces and Ajax4JSF. I have used used versions of 19 June before.

Now I have a large problem. I cannot enter my application now. In FireFox it works, but IE throws exception, that page cannot be displayed. I have tryed IE6, IE7 - the same problem. I have tryed Opera - it works.

Does anybody know, what is happening? I repeat: the only thing, which I have done - replacing old libraries by the latest snapshoots.

somethink should be in tomcat log. seems like some problems on server start.

I use Glassfish server. I don't see information about error in server.log. It starts right. I have tried to set log level INFO for org.ajax4jsf and org.richfaces. No information about errors. No warnings. It is very strange, because application works good in Opera and FireFox.

OK, I have founded the decision. There were javacscript errors on tree initialization. In the latest snapshot everything is right, and IE security gives access to page.

I downloaded the latest snapshot of RichFaces and Ajax4JSF :
- richfaces-3.0.2-20070806.000156-51.jar
- ajax4jsf-1.1.2-20070806.000156-151.jar

but the javascript error on tree initialization is still here !
Here' s the javascript error on Firefox :
$(this.id) has no properties (tree-item-js line 6)

Good day!

Try to use 3.1.0 branch. You can found it here:

http://maven.exadel.com/org/richfaces/ui/richfaces-ui/3.1.0-rc1/

It works much more stable as 3.0.2. There are some errors, but I hope that they will be fixed.

But i tried to use 3.1.0-rc1 with the 3 jars but i have this error :

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/richfaces/component/TreeNode !!

Where's the TreeNode Interface ?

Do you have error from your code?

RichFaces and Ajax4JSF become one whole. And developers of these libraries have done refactoring. And you have to, too, if you use these libraries.

You should remove previous version of libraries from your deployed application.

TreeNode is where now:

org.richfaces.model.TreeNode.

You'll see, that it is very simple to go to 3.1.0 version.
