Unit testing strategy

I was curious as to the unit testing strategy for the project.

I imagine the TCK tests would provide good coverage (for the JMS facade at least.)

However I also imagine there are licencing issues with these tests?

Is the normal strategy to always provide "home grown" unit tests irrespective of any TCK test suite that might exist?
