1. Re: One more question about SKINNABILITY
sergeysmirnov Aug 7, 2007 10:39 AM (in response to anperez)Yes, it is much easy to use skin properties in the style classes. Creating a whole render-kit just because of applying skins is a overkill.

ishabalov Aug 7, 2007 9:01 PM (in response to anperez)You can use skin parameters in css like here.
<style> .tooltip { background-color:#{a4jSkin.generalBackgroundColor}; border-width:3px; padding:10px; } .tooltip-text { width:350px; height:75px; cursor:arrow; border-width:2px; text-align:center; } .tooltipData { font-weight: bold; } </style>

3. Re: One more question about SKINNABILITY
anperez Aug 8, 2007 3:59 AM (in response to anperez)mmm... thanks a lot for the example ishabalov!! however, if I use #{whatever} it means I need to put the styles into the view (JSP, JSPX, XHTML,...) and not into CSS files, right?

4. Re: One more question about SKINNABILITY
ishabalov Aug 8, 2007 10:46 AM (in response to anperez)That is correct.
The alternative might be use of a4j:loadStyle component, but I've checked it few days ago and found broken :-( in that case. We will fix it in a few weeks, after you will be able to specify styles in xcss files. For now I recommend just use special include with style definitions.
