The JBossMQ does have this feature, you can set an expired message queue for a normal queue or for the entire server. -

toddjtidwell May 20, 2006 12:18 AM (in response to toddjtidwell)Yes, thank you. Actually, JBossMQ having it is what prompted me to ask in regards to the new JBoss Messaging. I had waited quite a while for the feature to appear in JBossMQ having migrated from WebLogic where this is present and very flexible. Then, just as I got it, JBossMQ is being obsoleted and replaced.
