1. Re: Why do we need a build directory and an output directory
ataylor May 13, 2008 9:37 AM (in response to timfox)I think that the output directory must be a hangover from an older build script. If you delete, that should sort it.
I have noticed that an output dir is built under the tests directory, I'll change this to build to be consistent! -

jmesnil May 13, 2008 9:37 AM (in response to timfox)I've checked and run our build script and it seems we no longer use the output dir.
You may still have it as a leftover before we switched to put everything in the build dir. Can you check the modification time of the files in your output dir to confirm they're old? -

clebert.suconic May 30, 2008 4:13 PM (in response to timfox)Resurrecting an old thread:
If you build docs from /trunk/docs/userguid, the output is /trunk/output/docs
If you build docs from /trunk/build.xml by calling distro, the output is /trunk/docs/userguide/build
That should be a simple change to be done after alpha. -

I just realized something... a 2 weeks old discussion is already considered old for us... Things are happening fast here!
